Should there be even the remote bit of interest in these things, I hereby bring forth a selection of detail shots I have taken while filling in time waiting for some English Electric survivors to show up.
There were seven (PB1-7) built by 'National Railway Equipment', being delivered in 2014. This arrival spelt the end for nearly all 850 and 1000hp 'English Electric' locomotives.
Today, all seven units shunt the Bluescope Steelworks at Port Kembla, along with 'English Electric' survivors D27 and D40.
The following drawings are from the 'National Railway Equipment Locomotive Operator's Manual'.
Thanks to Bradly Coulter.
