Western Kettles

Howdee one and all.
Finally motivated myself to put up another selection of kettle shots from the late 80s.
This time I am not sure if the year is 1988 or 1989 for the Blacktown shot, however the Richmond line ones were on December 2nd 1989.
Annnnyways, the following shots were all taken between Blacktown and Richmond. The first two look to be destined for Penrith, but the rest are on the actual branch.

3112 destined for somewhere west of Blacktown, we believe Penrith, looks to be approaching the Sunnyholt Road overbridge, with the station just visible beyond.

3001 passes the Hawkesbury Racecourse platform at Clarendon with a steam special to Richmond. 

3001 leads an up special as it departs Mulgrave station. Progress, including electrification, commuter carpark, siding removal and station upgrades, have made for a completely different scene today.

3001 passes through East Richmond station, with the terminus not far ahead.

3112 crossing the Rickabys Creek (yes, I know the caption is slightly wrong) bridge between Clarendon and Windsor.

3112 has arrived at Richmond station and is taking on water prior to preparing for her trip back.

Lavender Bay - Sandown - Richmond

Some old VHS video of the Zoo Train visiting different parts of the Sydney electrified network. One was just newly electrified, one does not see normal passenger services and the other does not see trains anymore.
