CARLINGFORD REVISITED.....REVISITED - PT2

I regret to inform you that you are about to endure the second part of our ' Carlingford Revisited........Revisited' article.

Part 1 can be found here should you so desire.

Here you shall endure our stopovers at the former Dundas, Rydalmere (Yallamundi), and Camellia stations. Followed by a look at the junction for the new light rail depot.

At the time of putting this guff together, the line was getting close to operation. If death does not visit me first, I hope to go out and cover it following the opening.

Dundas railway station is the only station building to still exist on the Carlingford line. The area is looking somewhat less appealing (IMHO) with all the light rail guff surrounding it.

Camellia Light Rail Stop

Sadly, this was as close as we could get to the the site of Camellia station on the day.
I was taking the photo from near the former Sandown line formation, looking north towards Carlingford.

Shortly we check out the situation with the old fuel sidings at Sandown.
You're welcome!
