MELBOURNE Ws


The first in a series looking at the Melbourne W type trams in 1987.
  While now mostly disappeared from Melbourne street, they were always the heart and soul of the city.


Withdrawn 1988 - In Bendigo


Believed Stored at Newport Workshops


Preserved in Perth (Western Australia)


Converted back to W1 431 for Heritage Fleet.
