~~ A WANDER DOWN SPARK MEMORY ~~
LANE

Sparks were something I never took much notice off.
Rarely went out of my way, except for some last minute videos of old red rattlers, to get photos of them. Those shot I was lucky enough to obtain were just ones taken between the trains I was really waiting for.
However going through a reasonably sized collection of EMU shots I find many shots that are nowdays very historically interesting, despite being as boring as grannies dental health lectures back in the old days.

Lets take a squiz at a small collection.

W set at Campsie

Comeng and parcel vans at Spencer Street

Campsie again, this time on the goods road.

Elcar

A Sydney parcel van this time - C3780 at Elcar.

Sydney's only candy parcel van at Elcar.

Brown set at Blacktown

Remember when they were all clear and silver before the rail operators started throwing paint over them, graffiti artists did the same, followed by other human vermin and their window scratching garbage.

These refurbs did NOTHING to improve the appearance.
